It was a colourful ceremony to mark the sending forth of Mr. Fred Vleghert, who had been the Division Manager (West Africa) of Pacific Int’l Drilling (W.A.) Limited since May 2011 up until October, 2013. An Icon in the drilling sector of the oil and gas industry, Mr Vleghert has many years of experience both in field and management roles with reputable firms such as Noble Drilling under his belt.
It was an atmosphere of mixed feelings as smiles and laughter lit the faces of everyone present but their hearts were a bit heavy for it was clear that Mr. Vleghert will truly be missed.
